Over provisioning & wear management explained
- Some of the drive space in OWC SSDs are allocated for RAISE – which provides real time data redundancy, ECC Error Correction, and reserve cell space.

- Temperature reporting is currently an unsupported feature because due to the operating characteristics of SSDs, it is highly unlikely one would ever exceed an OWC® Mercury SSD's stated operating temperature ceiling of 158°F/70°C.
