Two versions are available:
The MercuryPBG4 SuperDrive is compatible with 12-, 15- and 17-inch Aluminum PowerBook G4s and 15-inch Titanium PowerBook G4s that run at 667-, 800-, 867MHz and 1GHz. It is immediately available for $149.95 (previously $179.95).
The MercuryTi SuperDrive is compatible with 400-, 500-, 550- and 667MHz versions of the Titanium PowerBook G4. It is immediately available for $229.95 (previously $249.95).
Both versions include NTI Dragonburn, EMC/Dantz Retrospect and 10 pieces of 8X DVD-R media. OWC also stands behind these solutions with a one-year warranty. Solutions are compatible with a number of popular software applications including Roxio Toast, NTI Dragonburn and Apple iLife applications, and are EMC/Dantz Retrospect Backup Certified.
These internal solutions are user-installable with the help of OWC’s instructions, but OWC does offer installation services for those who may feel uncomfortable doing it themselves.
