Not sure this helps a huge lot, but I was able to install Jaguar with my J700's default Twin-Turbo video card. Definitely not a speed daemon, but it works ok. The compatibility notes lists their "ultimate rez ix3d" card, but the Twin Turbo somehow got me down the road. Also had good luck with Intel Pro-100 based 10/100 Ethernet cards. [the pro100 driver is very popular in BSD circles, so this is not a huge surprise] Tested in a Beige G3 (and a B&W). Had trouble with DHCP on the G3.. always fun. -Jon |

I think the Intel Pro100 card doesn't support Appletalk, but it is plug and play for TCP/IP... There are many types of hardware that are not explicitly listed on the XPF page.... Maybe we should start a Wiki? Marty |
