Finder crashes upon looking in specific folders. However if I boot from my other partition with 10.2.6 I don't have this problem looking in the same folders. I've repaired permissions and run DiskWarrior on it to no avail. Here's the crash log: Date/Time: 2003-10-22 11:25:58 -0400 OS Version: 10.2.8 (Build 6R73) Command: Finder PID: 415 Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001) Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS (0x0001) at 0xdc2aeae4 What the hell is going on? Could the Finder application itself be corrupt? 8600 with Sonnet G3 and ATI Radeon PCI |

You could definitely try replacing the finder app... Did you try creating a new account and seeing if this also crashes? Strange, Marty PS What kind of drive/controller? |

The problem seems to be a "Segmentation fault". What exactly is that? Why does it only occur from 10.2.8 and not 10.2.6? What can I do to fix it? |
