ATA Cards pose as SCSI? |

I'm wondering if any of the available modern IDE/ATA cards appear to OSX (10.2) as a SCSI adapter? I know this was the case in the past with some, and that it allowed for a single partition install on larger drives (ie bigger then 8 gig). Does anyone have such a card/setup that they can vouch for? Even if it's only UltraDMA66 that's probably fine since the PCI bus is so pokey on these systems... |

The Sonnet Tempo/66 does this, in 10.2 as well as earlier versions of Mac OS X. I'm not sure exactly which other cards pose as SCSI. |
