No Classic (still) |

Is there any progress toward (or ideas about) how to get Classic up and running on the machines which are without it now? (Jaguar took out Classic for lots of us using "unsupported" machines.) Too many operations and software titles still require the Classic environment and working between OS 9 and OS X with constant restarts has really soured the Jaguar experience for me. Just checking in to see if anyone has made progress on this issue. Thanks! |

I'm afraid that I still haven't made much progress on this one (it doesn't work for me either, which is actually fortunate in its own way). But I am trying to figure out what is going on. |

Yep. If I weren't so lazy I'd downgrade back to 10.1.5. Lately I've noticed that Classic tries to start up at random moments, often when I've finished downloading something. |

I couldn't agree more. I sure hope that someone figures out how to get this working again. It is very frustrating. It quits without any kind of error message at all as soon as the main Classic startup window appears. I've tried repairing permissions, copying over a different OS 9 folder from another drive, etc and have had no success. |
