Is networking dying for anyone else? |

A new problem cropped up for me yesterday, where the network just dies. Unfortunately this happened while I was franticly trying to print out a homework assignment to a networked printer. This morning, it happened again, four times in a row. I'm running 10.2.1 on a PB G3 Kanga (3500). The only clue that I get that anything is going wrong is iChat telling me that I've been disconnected, or Print Center holding at some percentage of transfer. If I ping anything on my subnet, I get nothing, 100% packet loss. I haven't figured out how to restart the networking, other than restarting the machine. Is anyone else having this problem? -- Len |

Yes! See my post "DNS problem?" (11/9/02) for an easy work-around that at least doesn't require a reboot. |
