Forgive me if this is a dumb question but I new to this. I successfully loaded OS X but when it starts up now I get a lot of text and then stops with the message "contacting debugger server, Continue type C, Reboot type R". How can I get rid of this and get it to start up without manual intervention? ap |

It sounds as though you are getting a kernel panic in the boot process. If so, the solution is to write down the text (or take a picture with your digital camera), and post it here so that we can figure out what the problem is. Another alternative is that you might have accidentally selected the "Early Breakpoint" option in the "Debug" menu of XPostFacto. That might lead to this symptom as well. |

I got this because if you don't have auto-reboot it stays there until you hit C. Auto-reboot does this for you so you don't have to worry about this. If auto reboot does not help I am not sure what will. |

yes that seemed to work I also tried to take off verbose mode - resulted in no text but also no OSX - hanged on boot up. So it seems verbose mode was needed for me, but autoboot got rid of the continue? question. Thanks |

Type c and see what happens. If you can't type, goto xpostfacto and in the one of the menus (i forget which one) and it should say input and output. under input select keyboard. Also check to see if the auto reboot option is checked. I unchecked to see what would happen and i think i got a message like that. |
