Hello all, I've been away from the forum for a while, but I hope someone here can help me figure this out... I can't say if it's an OldWorld/XPF-specific problem, but it's quirky enough that I thought I might ask here. I can't say when this problem started, but I can't compile just about anything anymore. Some simple packages work, but the majority fail with an error: make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all] Error 2 I tried removing the Developer tools and reinstalling/updating/patching to the latest version, but still no go. I can't even compile the Fink source using the current recommended install method for 10.2. Unfortunately I don't know much at all about compiling & linking & headers & libraries. I know barely more than ./configure, make & make install so I'm at a loss to troubleshoot this and figure out why it's failing. I just know that some of these packages compiled before, and now they don't. Tarballs that work: ytalk Tarballs that don't: screen, mutella, mutt, pine ... Any ideas? TIA, Andrew |
