Installed Jaguar but it Won't Boot |

I installed Jaguar on my external SCSI drive (I left 10.1.5 on my internal drive). According to the installer, it installed successfully; however, when I go to boot it from XPostFacto 2.2.4, it says "'External Drive' is not bootable (Mac OSX is not installed)" . My external drive was formatted with HDST and I reinstalled extensions from XPostFacto. What gives?? Thanks. Rick |

What XPostFacto checks is whether there is a file called mach_kernel in the root directory of the drive. It seems that occasionally a Mac OS X 10.2 install will seem to work, but the mach_kernel file won't be there--I'm not sure why that happens. In that case, doing the install again might help. |

My 7500 has onboard SCSI. There is no SCSI card in it. |
