Please can you let me know what the best way to UG to 10.2 is and what problems I might encounter. I was going to clone my HD to get a BU and then upgrade the boot disk. I have an 8600/G3 350 256Mb. Currently I use XP2.2b4 to boot between 9.2.2 and 10.1.5. each OS has a 4Gb partion on a 9Gb SCSI disk. My CDR works on the scsi bus after hacking the Yamaha libray. Many thanks |

I like the archive and install preserving network and user settings option... This gives you all the benefits of a clean install without needing to manually resetup all your user settings and such... I've used this setting many times on both supported and unsupported systems with good results. Marty |
