I was able to install 10.2 on my PTP/ NewerTech 400 G4 using the Xfacto software, but now I cannot upgrade to 10.2.3, it just wouldn't do it, I also tried software upgrade, still no result. Any suggestions? GAbby |

It finally worked. I actually downloaded again on a PC (due to faster DSL) and burnt it on a CD, then brought it back home to my MAC (10.2), copied it to the desktop and VIOLA! it worked. I don't know why the ones didn't work. Well alls well....... |

This only applies to internal SCSI drives, but try this: Open Disk Utility and check if any drives show up. If yes, then the issue is something else. If no, you managed to get some nasty corruption on the drive already. |

Thanks Jim, Well I downloaded the 10.2.3 upadate and tried to use that to update, but it cannot find the HD to install it in, not even in the drive that I have successfully installed 10.2. Last night I tried to use Software update but it said the same thing. Any suggestions? GAbby |
