I have a PTP/ Newer Tech G4 400 with 10.2 installed, but since there is no driver for OS X for my Creative Sounblaster LIVE, it doesn't work. DOes anyone know of any work around to make it work? I mean its a great card and it works fine with 9.X. Any suggestions on an alternative card? GAbby |

There is an independed open source project by Brian Sounder, a Creative employee, to develop drivers for OSX but it has had a number of setbacks during the last year. He is basically back at square one because this guy that was doing work on the drivers in the Netherlands would not release his code after he decided he did not have the time to keep working on the project. M-Audio demoed a new PCI sound card called Revolution 7.1 at Macworld. I saw the demos they had going and plan on getting one of the revolution cards when it's released in about two weeks. It's going for $99. OWC has them listed in the site's Audio section. |
