The ATI VR (XClaim) should work. I used mine to install OS 10.1 since the Radeon 7000 didn't work (only supported from 10.1.5). |

Well I tested the OSX with a 9600 with the apple branded TT 128m and it dies not have problem with that. I do not know what is your card (original or apple one), but you can test it. About the SCSI card the ATTO I have it the best (It is one of the ATTO cards mensioned by lei1). About your scanner, if it is SCSI you will probably not have problems if you use the vuescan software. I use it with my SCSI UMAX scanner with no any problems. (Just remember to turn on the scanner before restart in order to be detected by the system). The macsence card I think that it will not work as I could not find any driver for X for it. If you find something about that inform me please. In my openion you could satrt to install the X and see what will happen. Good luck and from me too. |

The video cards are questionable as the required OSX drivers may not be available (esp. for the TT). The 940UW will definitely not work as I have two of them that have been waiting for a firmware update forever (which may never happen). I use an Acard AEC160M which works well and others have reported success with ATTO PSC PCI UW SCSI cards and ULD2 cards using recent firmware updates and XPostfacto. The zip and CDRW should work no problem. The Epson may have built-in support or require drivers downloadable from their website. The Macsense will require OSX drivers which may be available on their website if they have been written. I don't know about the PaperPort. The G4/350 will probably not give you optimum system performance compared to OS9 but you have sufficient RAM which will help move things along. Good luck. |
