RAM: how do I identify a stick someone gave me? |

To compensate for a bad swap I was sent a "bonus" stick of RAM. But the sender would not identify it for me and I'm afraid to use it until I know exactly what I've got. Is there anyway to tell? Thanks, m. |

Above is the number on a sticker. There are chips on only one side. 8 are vertical with the number KM48C2104BA-6 KOREA 640Y. 2 are horizontal with the Texas Instruments logo and the numbers 6CA3HLK above ABT162244. It is 168 pins |

kailmusic, If you could provide the details of the rows of letters and numbers on the chip(s) for that stick of RAM, it would greatly help us in identifying its properties for you. Without those details though, it's a shot in the dark, with a gun that has no bullets. - Chibi Delennâ„¢ |
