Hi, I have an Beige G3 Upgraded as follows XLR8 G4 450 @ 500Mhz 768MB SDRAM PC 133 Stock Internal ATA 20GIG 7200 RPM HD Radion MAC Edition PCI Graphics Stock Rage Pro 6MB Onboard Video 66Mhz Bus L2 Cache Config XpostFacto 2.2.4 I have installed OS X 10.2.4 and the latest Radeon Drivers but I can't seem to disable my onblboard video. If I try to run the "flurry" screen saver and it is extremely choppy as if OS X is using my Rage Pro along with my radeon. I do not have a monitor hooked up to the rage pro. I have Disabled Mirroring for display arrangement. Everything works great in 9.2.2 I can play Warcraft 3 etc. If I try to launch Warcraft 3 in OSx I recieve an open GL error. Please let me know how disable my onboard video in os X or any other insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Terrell |

Be sure that you haven't forgot the monitor code dongle in the on-board video out connector - that would make the machine to think that there is an other monitor there and result mirroring or deviding to two monitors... |

There should be no problem with the latest ATI drivers. Check the "system.log" file for errors related to video output (look for lines that contain the text "ndrv" or "OpenGL". Start the search from the time you last started the computer. Try deleting the Extensions.kextcache and Extensions.mkext file and restarting. |

Apple's drivers are much better and support the new version of OpenGL, which could explain the OpenGL error because your drivers don't support them and your game may not support them either, you should check for some updates to it. |

You could also download the 10.2.4 combo udater if it won't be too painful for you and install it to get the latest Apple drivers for the Radeon. |

Actually ATI has fixed there installer, so unless you used the older version that should be ok now. You could try downloading it again and reinstalling. Marty |

You should not use ATI's drivers with OS 10.2 because apples are better, to get Apples back find you latest OSX update and use Pacifist 1.0 to extract the Installer, it should be a ktex or Plist file in the library folder. Good Luck, Jim |
