Using 7600/NewerG4/Radeon and XPF/10.2.4 ( OSX guru for a sainthood ?) I can't get DejaVu to do its thing at all, and wrt my earlier posts re CCC, I am starting to wonder if I've got the BSD subsystem installed. But, I can't find any way of determining if it is there - Find file looking for "contains BSD" gives zero result, it's not mentioned in Apple System Profiler, Info MacOS X has nothing relevant. Just how does one find out if BSD is installed ? And if it's not, how does one then do so ? |

I did a custom install of BSD and now everything is working sweetly ! I feel stupid, but I now remember that when I first installed OS X, and had then only a few gigs to play with, I left BSD out of my install to save space ! DejaVu now running sweetly. Now where's my copy of CCC ? |
