NVRAM error during install on G3 Powerbook |

I'm trying to use XPostFacto 2.2.5 to install 10.2.4 on my G3 Series Powerbook (Wallstreet) G3/300 320MB ram. I installed a new 20GB HD and partitioned it as you suggested, leaving the first 8GB as one partition and installing OS 9.2.2 on the second partition (using OS9forever). The OSX installer runs for awhile, but when it gets to "copying InfoPlist.strings" it stalls and gives me an error message that reads "Could not complete your request because there was a problem writing to NVRAM." I first encountered this when I only had 192MB in the machine, so I just replaced the top ram with a new 256 dimm. Same error. Any suggestions? |
