I have an upgraded 9500 with a sonnet G4 500, 512 mem, and new SCSI HD formatted with HD Speedtools and and ATI Video Card. The SCSI bus is terminated. It makes it through to the setup screen asking what language, but keyboard and mouse do no work except for rebooting. Any ideas. |

If you could write down the text of the kernel panic (or take a picture, if you happen to have a digital camera), that would be useful--it might provide a clue re: Jaguar. (And if you can get Jaguar installed, that would be the best thing). As for 10.0, you might try a previous version of XPostFacto, just in case I've broken something along the way. (It still works for me, but you never know). |

I'm trying to install 10.0. The mouse and keyboard are ADB and XPF is 2.2.5. Ive tried to install Jaguar but it keeps giving me a kernal panic. |

Hmm. This is the second report of this in the last few weeks. Exactly which version of Mac OS X are you trying to install? Also, are you using the original ADB, or are you using a USB keyboard or mouse? Also, which version of XPostFacto are you using? Is it the latest (2.2.5)? |
