Using XPostFacto 2.2.5 on a PowerBook G3 Wallstreet (SCSI, Black keyboard, serial, no USB), I was able to install OS X 10.1. I had a glitch when first running the install -- when I clicked the Install button in XPostFacto, I got an error dialog saying that it could not write to NVRAM, but rebooting booted into the install CD and the install worked fine. Much later, I booted into OS 9, which is where the problems started. After doing some work in OS 9, I tried to use XPostFacto to boot back into OS X, but I get the error dialog mentioned above, and rebooting always boots back into OS 9. Is this a bug in XPostFacto? Is there anything I can do to fix it? I've tried zapping my PRAM and running XPostFacto again, but I still can't get back into OS X. |
