I installed the Sonnet 800 mhz card and successfully booted from an OS9 system and an OS 10.1.5 system on an external hard drive. Couldn't get Jaguar to install on an internal hard-drive. Installed it successfully on the external hard-drive. Cloned it to the internal drive and it still wouldn't boot. So I switched the internal SCSI devices from chain 0 to chain 1 and it worked. (I remember reading about this issue before.) Couldn't bring up OS9 in Classic until I went back and re-read the instructions about going back to XPF and re-applying the extensions. (RTFM). Now everything appears fine and it seems deadly fast, even without the Radeon 7000 card I plan to get. Oh yes, one complaint. The XPostFacto.html documentation comes up in Internet Explorer. OmniWeb is my default browser. I hate it when that happens, however you've done such a great job otherwise, Ryan, I forgive you. |
