Real Player One for System X does not install/launch on my system (10.2.1 on dedicated drive). Here is what happens: 1. After the download from real.com is complete. I have a Real Player One.sit file. 2. Decompressing the .sit file (StuffIt 7) yields a Real Player One.app file (~13 MB) on my desktop (or wherever I choose to store the file). 3. Double clicking on the .app file produces ONE bounce in the system 10 dock of the circled 1 symbol, then the symbol disappears and absolutely nothing happens i.e. THE APPLICATION DOES NOT LAUNCH. Note that at no point do I get an install dialog as I do with other applications. There is no problem with the downloading procedure. Ideas anyone? |

try runnning fix permissions. Their may be a missing execute flag somewhere. I usually run fix permissions after an installation. 50% of the time it finds something that has to be fixed. |
