I'm using a NewerTech g3/500 with my 9600/200 324 ram I keep getting this error when trying to install X The installer has unexpectedly quit Press the Return key to restart the computer... kmod_destroy: com.apple.driver.AppleScreamerAudio (id33), deallocating 9 pages starting at 0xbe85000 kmod_destroy: com.appl.driver.AppleThermal (id34), dellocating 3 pages starting at 0xbe34000 |

This kind of error is often caused by problems with RAM--you may be able to figure it out by swapping out some DIMMs. Alternatively, it could be a problem with the drive you are trying to install to, or conceivably a problem with the CD itself. |
