Now here's an interesting one. I have a PowerMac 7600 with the Sonnet/PCI G3 400 MHz processor upgrade. I still have the original 1.2 GB hard drive that came with the unit and in PCI slot 2, I have th eSonnet Tempo-M-HD-20. I can get all the way to "Select Destination Disk" and the installer tells me that the "empty" HFS+ formatted Tempo drive is not in the lower 8GH partition. Is there some way around this? For the sake of data integrity, I'd really like to have OS 9.1 and OS X on different disks. |

ctomwilson, You could just re-initialize the Tempo HD20 as two seperate partitions, the first being 7.99 GB, and the second being the remainder. That would allow dual booting/classic on a different partition for you. |
