I have one of those USB -> USB cables that enables file transfer via USB ports. My cable came with windows and classic mac OS clients. Does anyone know of a client that will run under 10.2 ??? |

I guess I should have been more specific. I'm not going from drive a to drive b, I'm going from computer a to computer b (one mac, one windows laptop). The cable / software was purchased at comp usa. It basically did with USB what laplink used to do with pc's and parallel ports.... however going usb works for going between mac and pc or mac to mac, or pc to pc. The whole thing is now moot because I installed a router between my cable modem and mac and can transfer files between mac and pc through my network. |

I'm not sure what you mean by a client in this case. If you are trying to transfer files from drive a to drive b via your CPU, there is no client, OS X just does that, the necessary drivers are built in, assuming you have a mac, windoze, or unix format on the media. Other than that, I don't know how to anwser you. What files? What devices? |
