I just read in the "Log" on this site that there is a 10.2 - 604(e) fix in the works, possibly for the next version of XPF. See the "Log" for details. |

naturist I think that's wrong. I don't think the G3 has any instructions that are different from the 603/604... I think it is just an issue with how the 10.2 initializes the system. Ryan may still figure this out (hopefully!) Marty |

XPostFacto will allow you to run 10.1.5 on a 604 or 604e processor, but I doubt very much that XPF will ever help for 10.2. Word is that starting with that version, OS X requires instructions only available on G3 and later chips. |

If you mean does XPF allow you to boot from 604 processors ..... not yet .. I believe I read it may be in the works for next version of XPF... |
