Since upgrading to 10.2.4, I've suffered a mysterious reset of my dock and browser preferences, to default values. Even the browser home page has been reset. This has happened twice now in the last 2 weeks, and is a hassle. Anybody else seen this? 7500, Sonnet G4 800. |

OK, I just installed the the goofily-named ATI Feb 2003 update to the Oct 2002 update (why not just release it as a Feb 2003 update?). At reboot, everything reset again! Hopefully, that will be the last time. Also rebuilt permissions for good measure. ATI didn't mention this particular problem in their release notes. |

I have the ATI original Radeon PCI (not 7000). I'll check out ATI site for new driver. Thanks. |

I had a similar problem when I installed 10.2.4 with my Radeon 7000 video card, whenever it woke from sleep the dock and icons had reverted to the default size. ATI released an updated driver for 10.2.4 which took care of the problem for me. You do not mention what video card you are using, if any?. David. |

Hmmm.... mysterious indeed. Have you tried to check or repair the permissions ? |

Clarification: I don't just mean the dock's position. I mean everything in the dock has been reset to apple's defaults. Size, effects, everything. |
