try Carbon Copy Cloner from Mac update or version tracker. there is a thread going around here about it so you may want to check it out first. Good Luck! |

hi guys, first, i have a 7600/g3/400 512ram, gb internal, 40gb travelstar 40gnx on a tempo hd card, radeon 7000, orangemicro firewire/usb card. my question to you. i have made a bad choice in my 40gb drive partition and now realize this is not going to work once i get all my os 9 libraries switched over. i have mistakenly crated a 4g partition that osx now resides on, leaving an open ~33 gb partition for everything else. the osx partition is going to get full and fast. can i copy the startup disk that osx is on to the open and much larger partition? i would like to leave to current osx partition open for my os 9 partition. it only took 4 hours to get though the installer and i would prefer not to do in again now that i have everything working, partially updated, and just the was i like it. thank you, bech |
