I have been succesfully using OSX 10.2 (and 9.2.2 for the classic mode) for a couple of months now on my PowerTower 180c w/NewerTech 500 Mhz G3, thanks to XPF. I have succesfully installed a few programs written for OSX, but I am having trouble installing Intuit's new QuickBooks 5.0 (written for OSX and 9.2.2). It seems to install fine, but when I go to launch the program in OSX 10.2, I get a message stating "you must have 9.2.2 with carbon lib 1.6 or OSX 10.0, 10.1 or latter to run this software". When I start a cold boot into 9.2.2 it launches fine (but only the classic version of QuickBooks). When I cold boot into 10.2 and try to launch it, I get this same message again? I have two seperate partitions, for 9.2.2 and 10.2. Any sugges |

Have you tried trashing the preference files for quicken? Make sure that it'e opening the OS X version of the program and not trying to open the clasic version. |
