Is XFree86 Install Possible with Xpostfacto, if so what are some benefits of running XFREE86, I believe you can run Linux apps... Also thinking of upgrading Graphics card from Rage Orion 128 (Mac) to Radeon 7000 32meg(Mac edition), any advise, will it improve scrollling... Thanks, Jim |

One has nothing to do with the other... You do need XPF to run OSX on old world macs... But Xfree86 can run on any good OSX install. Apple's installer also supports 3d acceleration for supported 3d card (ie Rage128/ radeon). Marty |

You won't need XpostFacto to install XFree86. Apple has it's own installer that does everything for you. There is also XDarwin, and a few others I can't think of right now. |
