I note from Ryan's XPF 2.2.5 Readme that I need to upgrade to v. 3.3 of L2CC before installing OS X 10.2. Well I made the mistake of installing 10.2 before I had upgraded L2CC. What do I do now to recover? My system is 7600 w/ Sonnet 700MHz G4, 576MB RAM, 36GB IBM Ultrstar HD w/ 4 partitions [Mac OS X, Mac Classic (9.2.2) , Spare, and Mac OS 9.1], original CD-ROM,4MB logic board video, and an external SCSI Zip100 drive. |

To gchron: Thanks. It worked. I'm now running OS 10.2 with L2 cache enabled. John Hixson |

Try to uninstall it from Single user mode or better if you do not know how from there by booing into classic. The file you need to trach is L2CacheStart located in /Library/ StartupItems/ Then trach the application and reinstall the new one. |
