Ever since I upgraded to 10.24 I have not been able to get my external 8gig RAID to mount. It mounted fine before if I had it turned on before boot up. I have an 8500/120 with a G3/300 NewerTech CPU, 1gig of OWC RAM, a Radeon 7000, a 2940 card, and an OWC firewire card. I opended up disc utilitly - and it looks like this http://homepage.mac.com/chipm/xpost/FileSharing10.html Just click the folder and look at the screen grab pdf. Thanks for all the help in advance |

Seems support for 2940U2B was dropped. So I'd be surprised it was still working that long, as most UW cards have had little or none. You might want to look into 29160 and one of the new 10K drives from Seagate or Maxtor which, for less than $200/36GB, deliver and you wouldn't even need RAID to get 40-60MB/s. Finding SCSI that is supported in OS X and OS 9 on Beige and earlier is a challenge. The newest ATA drives are quite capable of 45MB/s also. |

Have you tried reformatting the drives? Perhaps the RAID driver changed in 10.2.4. |

No takers on this one, eh? The disc utility shows the two 4 gigs faded. But if I do the information pane the name of the RAID is there. Help! Thanks. Mosh |
