I'm trying to get X running on a powerwave. I'm tring to boot into X (verbose mode) using Xpostfacto. The computer starts to bood and hangs displaying the following line. BlockStorage Services/IOBlockstorageDriver/ Quantum Atlas_V_18_SCA media/IO Apple PartitionScheme/untitled@6 BSD root: disk0s6, major 14, minor 6 Anyone have a clue. The boot drive is an 18GB SCSI formatted with Apple disk utility (previously formated with whatever OWC uses). After an unsuccessful install attempt using conventional methods (powerwave's cd rom doesn't seem to be supported), I've tried cloning the X boot disk from my 7500 to the powerwaves disk using carbon copy cloner and this is what I'm coming up with. |
