L2Cache Config -> X-Tuneup |

Got some advice to bag L2C in favor of X-T, primarily for L3 cache enablement. How do I get rid of everything from L2C? Is it just what goes in the startupitems folder? I tried just moving the L2C folder out of the startupitems folder; but when I installed X-T I just kept getting the bball from hell. X-T seems a bit confusing on the install, so maybe I screwed that up somehow. Any advice on completely bagging L2C and on installing X-T? TIA! |

Moving the L2CacheConfig file from the startup folder should take care of it. Also, delete the application as well (if you run the application, it will reinstall the startup item). There is also a preferences file in /Library/Preferences. If you remove that, L2CacheConfig won't do anything. |

I think L2C has something in the extensions folder, search for it in find... Don't know for sure howe to get rid of it, you probably have to startup from another system en throw it in the bin. I now use CPU Director after problems with X-Tune up and untill now with succes. |
