Sorry if this posted twice. Is anyone using the Griffin iMic to get around the audio issues with 10.2.6 and ATA cards? |

Since it's cheaper (and more fun) I just ordered a 7600 main board off ebay. I'll swap and let everyone know how it turns out. |

PM7500 G3/375 - iMic didn't fix my audio problems in 10.2.6 (iMic sound out did stop sooner than the built-in audio - go figure). 10.2.8. solved my problem with built-in audio-out stopping abruptly, at least. |

The iMic solved sound drop out issues on my 8500. |

Also good to note that 10.2.8 notes that it addresses audio issues, so retesting might be a good start. Marty |

Depends on the USB card you use also. I found with the NEC based USB2 card, my USB audio works well. Marty |

There are some posts from about 2 months ago that address this, I posted a question about the audio workaround, and saw that some were recomending it...... Sorry.....I don't use one, but I do know there is some discussion on this. |
