Why Can't I Install From A FW CD Drive? |

I just attempted to install OS X using XPostFacto 3.0.0a4. Since my internal SCSI CD drive does not work well, I hoped to use my Firewire CD drive to install OS X. However, XPF does not give me the option of installing from the Firewire CD drive. It will only allow me to install from my internal SCSI drive. Am I missing something here, or is it not possible to use a Firewire CD drive to install OS X using XPF? |

I am glad to hear that this is something that you may end up working on. The main reason I bought a FW HD and FW CD was to utilize XPF. As usual, I'll be following your Log intently. For me, it is crucial as my SCSI drive often fails. |

It's a bug--I'm going to be wanting to get this one fixed, as many people will have fast FW CD-ROMs that would be nice for an install. |
