Before installation of 10.2.8 I removed the orangeling USB 2 driver in order to see if the new system supports my card. (Orangelink USB2 and Firewire card) After installation I opened the USB Prober (A developer tools application) and show the following kexts loaded: com.apple.iokit.IOUSBFamily (2.0.1) com.apple.driver.AppleUSBOHCI (2.0.3) com.apple.driver.AppleUSBEHCI (2.0.3) com.apple.driver.AppleUSBHub (2.0.3) com.apple.driver.AppleUSBComposite (2.0.0) com.apple.iokit.IOUSBUserClient (2.0) com.apple.driver.AppleUSBIrDA (1.3) is the com.apple.driver.AppleUSBEHCI (2.0.3) the USB2 Apple driver and so I do not need the oranglink extension???? I do not have any USB2 device and so I cannot test it. Thanks |
