I would like to use my FWB Jackhammer PCI SCSI card (original fit in 9650 server) under OS X. I've looked in the usual places, but can't find info about whether it works with OS X. Any clues, please? Gerald WW |

The last version of the drivers can be found by Jackhammer's current owner, Rorke Data at this url: http://www.rorke.com/hammer/ PowerLogix also has an E100 Enabler which will let the built-in 100Mbps ethernet work, atleast under OS 9. It can be found here: http://www.powerlogix.com/downloads/index.html#e100 I used to have one of these cards and it was great, but opted for an initio miles as a replacment, which thankfully is still getting firmware updates for OS X. |

A ton of people would love to hear that there are drivers for the Jackhammer and OSX! Most UMAX J700/S900's came with Umax branded Jackhammer/fast Ethernet combo cards. Still works fine in OS 9.x but jackhammer was sold a long time ago by FWB. FWB has since been sold at least twice not much left of it these days. Drivers don't seem to exist bummer. |

Damn my typing! Of course I meant a Quadra 950, not a 960. (Although it does have a Daystar 601 CPU card in it...that might make it a 960.) |

Wow! I haven't heard that name in a long time. I think I have a Nubus Jackhammer in my 960 which is my house file server. Yep. That's it. Well, if you find a source, please post. Try looking at the Mac Driver Museum http://www.macdrivermuseum.com/ But you might have better luck at http://www.rorke.com/hammer/ --Dwight P.S. Bookmark http://www.google.com/mac |

I could not get mine to work, but that was a couple of versions ago. I also have a 9600 G4/800. After all said and done I wound up with a Sopnnet Trio card, but I'd prefer a scsi |
