Hello everybody: Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain a "localtalk-to-ethernet" adapter, one that would allow me to be able to use my Apple LaserWriter 12/640 PS under MacOS X? Thanks all for your help. Enrico. |

Enrico (aka, dude), Check out eBay's Apple section http://listings.ebay.com/aw/listings/list/all/category4599/ index.html and search for "aaui". They're going for less than $5 each. Happy Hunting! --Dwight (one of those olde dudes) 8-) |

dude! if you have a 12/640, it already has ethernet. the only thing is that it uses an AAUI port for ethernet (not RJ45 "mega phone jack"), and what you need is an AAUI to 10BaseT ethernet transceiver. these can be found all over the place for anywhere from $10 to $30 dollars. hope that helps. cheers! |
