Ive got a ppc 9500 with a G3 400 upgrade 1 gb Ram running xpostfacto I select the same hard drive, but when i hit the install button it restarts and the happy mac icon comes up and then the little cd icon in the left top corner just spins and spins, sometimes it goes to verbose mode and spits out a bunch of junk I dont understand. Ive got 9.1 installed. The hard drive is connected via an acard 133. Are there any options i need to have checked before installing? ::pulling hair out:: Why wont it install!! Any help would be great! Thanks Rob |

To diagnose the problem, your best bet is to start in verbose mode (hold down command-v as XPostFacto restarts your Mac), and you should get an error message of one kind or another. If it is incomprehensible, just copy it down and post it here--we can probably figure something out. |

you may need to use an Apple CDROM connected to the internal or external SCSI bus for best chance of installation. good luck! |
