I have a 7300 with a Powerlogix G3 500MHz/1MB, 256MB RAM (non-interleaved), Sonnet PCI Tempo 66, Western Digital 30GB ATA drive, Twin Turbo ix3D, and Twin Turbo 128, 4MB onboard VRAM I was able to install Jaguar to a 5 GB partition I had, but now when I try to boot up in it, I get a kernel panic with a bunch of messages, starting with: Unable to find a driver for this platform ... blah blah, backtrace .. cpu .. yadda yadda.. any help? |

I did not choose the erase disk option. I have already tried reinstalling extensions. Tried installing to other Partitions. Tried reformatting and installing. I have decided to give up on my 7300 having Jaguar. I was able to install Jaguar to my SCSI drive on my 7500. Just to see if it would work, I put that SCSI drive in the 7300, and it almost gets to the login screen when it has a kernel panic. There's a long list of crap, and at the bottom it says something about ethernet MAC address, and has my local IP address. |

reinstall the xpostfacto extensions. You probably chose the erase the disk option, so you need to have old world support reinstalled before it will go... |
