Hello all! I have a 7500 with my boot drive connected to a trio card. This drive is partitioned with one 7GB partition and one 33GB partition. The card booted OS X v10.1 and 10.0 fine, but in Jaguar it hangs at startup and verbose mode says waiting for boot device over and over. My complete setup is: PM 7500 800 MHz G4 Trio Radeon 320 MB RAM Stock CD-ROM 36.7 SCSI Hard Disk Any ideas? Thanks, Steve |

It appears that some of the Sonnet ATA cards are having trouble with Jaguar. They are aware of the problem, and should have a fix out at some point. (It doesn't appear to affect all cards--for instance, my ATA/66 card is OK. But several people have reported trouble with the ATA/100 card, and it sounds like the Trio may be affected as well). |
