Tried an install of 10.0.3 on my G3-upgraded 7500. When machine restarts after install, I see the Welcome screen which instructs me to choose a language and "click the 'Continue' button." I am using a 13" Performa Plus display and the "button" is "nowhere" to be "seen". Thanks in advance for any advice and sorry if this has been covered already. |

Maybe you can simply quit from that screen with cmd-Q? If not that, then opt-cmd-esc to force-quit? HTH, Gene |

"There are a couple of suggestions in the FAQ." --Yeah, I saw 'em. The second one, "create an empty file at this path: /private/var/db/.AppleSetupDone", I can't figure out how to do (I'm an "old school" OS 8.6 guy) "And I believe that 10.1 works a little more gracefully with this issue." --that's the first suggestion. My OSX install package came w/ 4 CD's: OS 9.1 and 9.2. and 10.0.1 and 10.1. Couldn't figure how to install the 10.1 upgrade if I couldn't get thru the setup for 10.0.1. Any other suggestions would be most welcomee (and a new, larger display is not an option). Thanks |

There are a couple of suggestions in the FAQ. And I believe that 10.1 works a little more gracefully with this issue. |

Get something other than a 640x480 display. I got Jag working on a 12" Hi- Res Apple monitor, but it really needs at least 800x600 to be usable. |
