I dont need my SCSI CD drive any more (I just got a Firewire CD Burner) and it does not have booting capability anyway. It tries TO load the IOSCSICDdrive extention 3 or 4 times and fails every time. How do i remove it? its just slowing boot down. thanks Jim |

You can remove the /System/Library/Extensions/PatchedIOSCSICDDrive.kext bundle if you really want to. I don't think it will have a significant effect on boot time, though. |
