Greetings, I am haveing a problem with "restarts" and frezzing when screen saver is on for several hours. This is what is in my log file: ## Component Manager: attempting to find symbols in a component alias type (regR/carP/x!bt) ------------it says this three times and then it says: loginwindow[353] could not find image named 'bang' Any ideas? Thanks |

Could the image it's looking for at loginwindow be one of the cute "personalized" images (the butterfly, flower, soccer ball, etc.) that you can choose from when you first install OS X (and later from one of the System Preferences panes--Users?)? The image you choose is displayed in the login window. Possibly one is named "bang", and you selected it without knowing its name (or OS X may have selected it) when you installed OS X? |

Do you get these messages only just prior to a freeze, or do they occur at other times as well? |
