Last night after a LOT of research and re-reading every single post here, I deciced to give things one last try. For those of you with a PM 7300 here is what I had to do. Terminate the Hard Drive, (SCSI Internal) Remove Termination from the CD-Rom (SCSI Internal 12X Stock) Moved the SCSI internal connector from the FAST SCSI to the normal SCSI on the Mother Board. Used XpostFacto S/W and the 10.2 OS X install discs to load. Everything loaded and worked fine. The USB (Belkin Card 2 port) was found fine, the Epson 785 Printer worked, Zip 250 USB drive worked, Kodak Multicard reader worked. I thought that speeds were reasonable with the Sonnet G4-400 card installed. I don't think it is as fast as when in the Mac OS 9.1 but it's good enough that I really want the G4-800 card. Once again......Thanks to ALL of you that report your problems and those of you that have helped the rest of us with our upgrades! Chris |
