10.2.2 shuts off cache on XLR8 G4/400 |

Since updating to 10.2.2 my 8600 (with XLR8 G4/400 and ATI Radeon) has become painfully slow. After a restart it works fine, but if I leave it for a while I return to find that the cache is disabled. I cannot enable it without a restart. I'm using L2 Cache Enabler 3.3. Why is the OS shutting it off? Is there an easy way to remove the update without reinstalling the whole OS? |

It's possible that 10.2.2 is disabling the cache if the CPU goes into a low-power mode, or something like that. I'll take a look and see if I can come up with something--I am working on a new method of working with the cache for XPostFacto 3. |

Powerlogix Cache Control X seems to have resolved this. |
