I've a PM 7500 w/ 2 hard disks, 1 external w/ Hard Disk Toolkit format/drivers, the other internal w/ Apple Drive Setup format/drivers, both SCSI drives, and I have a 10.2.0 partition/installation on each. The problem is that the 10.2.2 installer refuses to allow me to update either of the Jaguar partitions, saying tersely that neither drive meets "the requirements" for the install, whatever that means. Anybody have any suggestions? |

Sorry, the last line of my previous post should have read : If you go to http://www.info.apple.com/support/downloads.html you can see both versions and the equivalent Server versions listed. I was trying to second guess what the pseudo html interpreter on this message board would do with a URL. |

There are two versions of the 10.2.2 update. One requires 10.2.1 to be already installed (I suspect that may be the one you originally downloaded). The other is a 10.2.2 Combo update which will installl directly on top of Jaguar 10.2.0. This second version is obviously larger as it includes all the 10.2.1 stuff as well. Software Update merely selected the correct version for your configuration. If you go to you can see both versions and the equivalent Server versions listed. |

I had downloaded the stand-alone 10.2.2 upgrade installer via a T3 line I have access to, and it was that which refused to touch my drives. I bit the bullet and set Software Update to install all 29.6 Mb via my crummy little 33,600 modem connection, and several hours later, Voila! That worked. |
