Slowing down Verbose messages |

I have long used NAT with OSX. I recently had to do an archive install and I replaced my NAT stuff but it isn't loading. Using XpostFacto we are all familiar with verbose mode. My nat stuff is a startup item and I'm getting a message about why my NAT startup item can't be loaded in verbose mode but I can't read fast enough to get the message. Is there a way to slow down verbose mode? To read a log of what was printed. I see a lot of people talking about turning the throttle on XpostFacto "All the way up" to 24. It was my understanding that throttle temporarally set the multiplier of the G3/G4 upgrade and that lower numbers were slower/more throttled. Any help would be appreciated as internet sharing is so limited next to NAT/IPforwarding. |

There are two ways to view the system messages during boot after the stsrem is started. Try to open the file /var/log/system.log with the Console application OR you can type dmesg in a terminal window |
