I have a question about the new "Install Extentions" option in the file menu. Does this install just the kexts? Or does it install everything that the 9.x installer does? Thanks for the 10.2 support. :) |

The new "Install Extensions" command installs only the kernel extensions. Basically, it is just a replacement for the "OldWorldSupport.pkg" package that I used to include with the kernel extensions, so you could install them in Mac OS X without having to reboot into Mac OS 9 to run XPostFacto. You will still need to reboot into Mac OS 9 and run XPostFacto to do major OS upgrades (like 10.1 to 10.2). But one of my future goals for XPostFacto is to have all its features working in Mac OS X as well as Mac OS 9. |
